On Friday March 12th we held an extremely well attended and productive seminar in Buckhaven, Fife, on 'Re-energising Communities'- in which people active in Fife Council and Fife communities focused on how to work together to reduce energy use and power up renewables. There were some unexpected convergences and clashes.
This seminar on Thursday March 25th handles the far hotter topic of how to enable a real shift to sustainable transport.
You are invited to join us and contribute to the design of a strategy by which Local Authorities can better support and enable local communities to reduce carbon emissions through reducing transport needs, increasing sustainable transport, and encouraging behavioural change
We are inviting key people from Fife Council, from community carbon reduction initiatives, and from resource and support organisations to identify processes and actions by which Fife Council in particular, and Local Authorities more broadly, can work with community groups on this issue.
No such thing as a free lunch? Yes, there is! . . . and participation is free too, as long as you register before there are no places left: email me at email@example.com.
