Remoteness: asset, liability, or something else?

This is a draft of our latest exploration of assets in rural settings. It is very much a tool for thinking about, and shaking up, the idea of assets.

Thanks for this I think it is a really helpful paper. I often reflect on how different people's perceptions of whether something is an asset or not does vary, as does their ability to unlock the value.

So maybe one of the most fundamental assets is the ability to see assets where others don't.
