What is it for?
This group looks at how communities can shape their broadband services - from working together to stimulate demand through to building networks themselves. There are some great projects around the UK where people have grabbed the opportunity to develop new enterprises delivering broadband to communities deemed unviable by major internet companies. Here we will share ideas and best practice on the pitfalls to avoid and how to overcome the practical challenges in coming up with your own broadband project.
