- Welcome! FierySpirits is for activists and professionals who are building vibrant, resilient rural communities. Tell us a little about why you'd like to join?
- I'm currently doing some of my research with vibrant rural communities in rural Scotland, looking at concept such as empowerment, resilience, well-being and capacity and why some communities seem to have them/make them work, and some don't.
- About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
- I'm an environmental psychologist in the socio-economics research group at the James Hutton Institute in Aberdeen. My research focuses on people-environment relationships, in particular with regards to issues of psychological perspective taking, environmental behaviours and coping and adaptation to environmental change.
