We seek to define the intangible qualities that make communities thrive. We look at future thinking, social and cultural capital, place-based learning, health, sustainability, inclusion and participation.
Welcome! FierySpirits is for activists and professionals who are building vibrant, resilient rural communities. Tell us a little about why you'd like to join?
MMM:Designing for Transition (Deft) is a change programme. It aims to test ideas for responding and adapting to the numerous and complex trends affecting not for profit arts and cultural organisations, demonstrate what works to the broader field and accelerate infrastructural and organisational transformation in order to better support the creation and experience of great art. We are keen to tap in to any learning that might help us and Fiery Spirits looks like a great resource.

I have just updated looking at this site and notice this great comment from you over 18 months ago!!!!So glad we came to see you when we did and may H1 and H2 are listening a bit more now. Seems so.
Good to meet you at the resilience session. The interest and awareness within the arts in Scotland around CC and energy/community resilience is definitely growing. Are you aware what the SAC's approach to this is?
I am sending you the details of the event i mentioned, Empowered by Financial Independence - which is being held at Glasgow Royal Concert Halls on 29th October. This is an event for voluntary organisations to explore how they can increase their financial independence; empowering them to deliver a wider range of services, whilst holding fast to their values and allowing them to be agents for change.
It looks very interesting and timely for projects that dont want to scramble for the finite pot on the funding treadmill and find an alternative to building more financially independent and resilient communities. Please pass to any projects you think may be interested. The web link is www.learninglinkscotland.org.uk
Look forward to catching up with you again
