Welcome! FierySpirits is for activists and professionals who are building vibrant, resilient rural communities. Tell us a little about why you'd like to join?
I'm delighted to find this community using social media to connect and collaborate ... and would like to help with that.
About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
Over the years I've worked as a planning journalist, community engagement and regeneration consultant, helped set up Groundwork (c 1980) and other development trusts, and I'm now blending the use of social media with face-to-face events. I'm interested in spotting the stories, helping people tell their, and promoting collaborations. I call that social reporting.
Welcome into FierySpirits and thanks for your offer to support us here... also for the pointer to social by social which is fascinating... I've been looking for examples of foundations using social networking technology effectively ... have you come across any? Lots of other questions too - will start by reading your book!
HI David
Good to catch up yesterday - can you let me have more details about Social by Social - it seemed to get a really good response at RebootBritain
