About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
Following the decision of the Trustees to close the Rural Programme, I left Carnegie UK Trust at the end of 2010. I am now working as part of the Eden Project team as Director, Community Innovation. Amongst other things I'm working up a brand new UK/Ireland programme - a worthy successor I hope to the Carnegie work. Watch this space for further news.

Hi Kate!
I didn't know the name came from Sweden, but I agree that it's a good description for what these people are. I had the most pleasant time at the convention and got to talk to many interesting people. The dancing was so much fun too!! I will remember the convention as one of the highlights of my year i England!
I believe rural development is something we have to work on together: LAGs, RDAs and all other organisations/societies that have a role to play within that field!

Thanks Kate,

You are prompt as ever, I am working to have all the content for the August Newsburst ready by the 17th so Nick can help me stitch it all together as soon as he is back from leave. We have the mailchimp primed, I have 2 weeks to gather the content.

Many thanks

Paul

Hi Kate,

I am now in the process of collating the content for the next newsburst. From recent trustees meetings, teleconferences etc, do you have any 'overview news' you would like me to include, to share with the whole group??

I welcome any text or photos...

many thanks
