Welcome! FierySpirits is for activists and professionals who are building vibrant, resilient rural communities. Tell us a little about why you'd like to join?
To learn about putting good ecological thinking into practice.
About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
I work 3 days a week in the NHS in Fife as Deputy Director of Public Health. I also do 2 days a week pro bono with the International Futures Forum, a charity interested in bringing new thinking and practice to our most intractable challenges.
I have two boys and want them to learn the skills for transition as currently the school curriculum leaves much to be desired on that front.

It has a great many natural assets which lend themselves to transition, although the economy is very oil-based, with people travelling from all over the world to visit the town as students, teachers and tourists.
I am conscious my own skills for transition are lacking and want to learn more.

Thanks very much again for the lift back from the One Planet Food launch, and for an interesting and entertaining discourse en route!

Hi Margaret
thanks for your message - and I think congratulations are in order on your job?

Very much looking forward to meeting you too - to discuss food and health issues - what's your email and I'll send you a draft of our plans for our One Planet Food project in Fife.
