About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
Michael Kenny, MAgr.Sc, MIITD is a lecturer at the Department of Adult and Community Education, National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Co Kildare.
He is co-ordinator and lectures on the Higher Diploma in Adult and Community Education (community development and curriculum development modules), is co-ordinator and lectures on the BSc Degree in Rural Development by Blended Learning delivered in conjunction with all the constituent universities of the National University of Ireland.
Michael Kenny lectures on community development and rural development outreach courses and on The BA degree in Community Studies for mature students.
Michael Kenny, MAgr.Sc, MIITD, is specialist in rural development, participative methodologies, local development and blended adult learning. Michael teaches at university level and is a member of NIRSA (National Institute for Regional and Spatial Analysis), IITD (Irish institute of Training & Development), DSA (Development Studies Association), Aontas (The Irish National Association of Adult Education) and IRL (Irish Rural Link).
Michael has worked extensively with statutory and non-statutory agencies, local authorities, voluntary groups in Ireland and Overseas (focusing on Central and East Africa).
