Profile Information

Welcome! FierySpirits is for activists and professionals who are building vibrant, resilient rural communities. Tell us a little about why you'd like to join?
To share ideas and information, to be inspired and to help others to help rural communities.
About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
I work for the Plunkett Foundation, an organisation which helps rural communities to believe in what they can achieve together. We promote and support communities taking ownership of the issues affecting their everyday lives. I am a member and volunteer at Leafield Community Shop in Oxfordshire, one of over 200 community-owned rural shops in the UK. I am also a member of the Fordhall Community Land Initiative, the first community-owned farm in England. I am working to help establish a Community Land Trust for housing and a therapeutic horticulture social enterprise in Worcestershire where I grew up.
