- I am a lecturer in Sustainable Rural Development with UHI, Scotland, live on the Isle of Lewis and am always looking to keep up with best practise and discuss key Rural Issues with others!

- Im 41, a graduate in Rural Development and as well as Lecturing, my other job is as a Retained Firefighter, which is great! I have been very into mountain activities for more that 25 years, (now thats scarey!) I have worked in local development and can't help but think that there is so much dormant potential in our rural areas. Otherwise anything that you want to know, just ask!!

New website launched for Sustainable Development Degree

In February of this year, the BSc Sustainable Development degree was approved for delivery across the world. This wholly online degree has been run successfully across the UK for more than 12 years, but is now the first of Scotland’s newest University’s undergraduate degrees to be able to recruit from anywhere in the world.
