Profile Information

Welcome! FierySpirits is for activists and professionals who are building vibrant, resilient rural communities. Tell us a little about why you'd like to join?
I am a lecturer in Sustainable Rural Development with UHI, Scotland, live on the Isle of Lewis and am always looking to keep up with best practise and discuss key Rural Issues with others!
About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
Im 41, a graduate in Rural Development and as well as Lecturing, my other job is as a Retained Firefighter, which is great! I have been very into mountain activities for more that 25 years, (now thats scarey!) I have worked in local development and can't help but think that there is so much dormant potential in our rural areas. Otherwise anything that you want to know, just ask!!

Hi Roddy

Great you're interested to join FierySpirits.... a major part of our work here is about connecting folk... if there is a little more you could write about your personal interests as well as your professional role, please feel free to do so - am I right to infer that you're up mountains whenever possible?!

cheers!
