I've just come back from a campervan holiday in Cornwall. It was easy to live off local food and crack the food waste problem by buying small amounts daily in lovely farm shops. Variety, good prices in some places and quality were more than a match for the supermarkets. But the range was wide only because I was on the move and could shop along the way.
