Welcome! FierySpirits is for activists and professionals who are building vibrant, resilient rural communities. Tell us a little about why you'd like to join?
I currently chair the Community Development Alliance Scotland and have worked in Community Development in Scotland for some 30 years. My greatest professional interest is in the exchange of practice, and learning from colleagues.
About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
After working for voluntary organisations ( NGO's) for 15 years in Glasgow I moved to work for Local Government, firstly in Tayside Region and since 1996 for the City of Dundee. I am very fortunate to have a wide ranging remit covering, libraries, arts, hreitage, community centres, parks,
sport, community regeneration, voluntary sector funding and equalities - this includes the City Councils Community Learning and Development work force.

Welcome Stewart; If you check out the 'international' group you'll find many familiar faces... I'm off to Cornwall for a couple of days and will hear a bit about how the Measuring What Matters event went there; in any case, there was such a good buzz from the conference, maybe we could explore some practical ways in which FierySpirits, or the connection with Carnegie more broadly, might help to support some experiments along the lines that Ron was suggesting...
