Profile Information

Welcome! FierySpirits is for activists and professionals who are building vibrant, resilient rural communities. Tell us a little about why you'd like to join?
I was introduced to Fiery Spirits at the Convergence festival last year and am interested in networking with others working in this field. As a founding member of MCO Projects in Ireland I have been working for 20 years on designing and implementing local area-based projects both urban and rural. Our 4D Planning approach is about mapping local assets and brokering new models of partnerships between community, public and private sectors to unlock potential for resilience in our communties.
About Me (areas of expertise/interest I can share)
Experiences from being centrally involved in cluster developments (cultural and creative industries; sustainable energy communities; digital media enterprise; demonstration projects for ageing in place, sustainable design, new housing models). Brokering key relationships working with cross-sectoral stakeholders in the community, public private partnership projects, local authorities and development agencies.

Welcome Eve!
The site's undergoing a revamp at the moment.... a good time to join though as we're about to launch a few publications including one on community resilience that I've been working up for a couple of years...
Hopefully I'll be over to Ireland soon enough and there might be a chance to continue that conversation...
