Assist Social Capital's 3rd international conference is shaping up, with numbers now spilling over the 100 mark. We hope to see at least 120 on the day.
After finding out about Ning from Nick Wilding (i.e. this site) Assist has developed a Social Capital Ning for conference delegates. There's a growing number of videos on social capital a blog from Thornlie Primary School's head Teacher David Hughes on their international social enterprise activity and a small number of relevant pictures from delegates.
We have 9 seminars at the event with presentations from Thailand about a social capital approach to a hugely successful appropriate technology canal cleaning project as well as presentations from Nigel Lowthrop from Hill Holt Wood and case studies from India, Brazil, Argentina, Austria and also Scotland.
It would be great to see some of the Fiery Spirits along at our event which takes place in the amazing setting of New Lanark.
