You'll realise that I struggle to keep up with what's going on on the internet along with everything else - perhaps my interests are just too broad! So I'm glad you've got in touch and got me reading some of this again. I've most recently been working at Strathclyde Uni on a research initiative around social learning and sustainability. As with a lot of social research, it helps us put into words what most people already know instinctively - and at least that provides me with some frameworks for confronting why I find this stuff difficult. For example, web and blogs seem to me to offer some fantastic knowledge, views and a social media - but I still struggle without the people context.
More effort required on my part I think!
